Established in 1993 in San Francisco, Philippe Grandvoinet Decorative Finishes 
has been providing interior design and architectural firms with the finest French decorative painting and textural finishes.
For the past 25 years, Philippe has lead his team of skilled craftsmen to deliver works of refined artistry, seamlessly
blending traditional disciplines of wood-graining, gilding, and plastering with a contemporary design aesthetic.   
As the company grew, Philippe established his reputation for delivering technical jobs on schedule and within budget, building enduring relationships with some of California's leading architects and designers.
His quality of work has enabled him to be regularly published in books and magazines such as: Collected Cool by Jay JeffersArchitectural Digest, and Luxe Magazine.
Philippe received his training at Van Der Kellen Institute, a renowned school of 18th Century decorative painting and Trompe L'oeil techniques in Brussels Belgium.
After graduating with high honors in 1986, Philippe began to establish himself in New York and France, working with renowned designers.
Through these collaborations, Philippe expanded his repertoire to include designs ranging from stately period rooms to innovative contemporary interiors.
In 2014, Philippe received the prestigious Northern California Julia Morgan Award for craftsmanship and artisanship. 
He currently works on both residential and commercial projects throughout the Bay
Area, nationwide and internationally.
